Dr. Phillip Hughes has over 30 years experience as an musculoskeletal physiotherapist. He has a Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy and Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, as well as a Professional Doctorate, where he researched shoulder rotator cuff conditions.

Phillip has spent many years in private practice, treating spinal conditions as well as injuries to the limbs and post-operative conditions. He has a special expertise in treating the shoulder. Phillip spent 10 years teaching physiotherapy at university, in both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Phillip continues to teach physiotherapists in manual therapy and shoulder treatment.

Phillip has published papers in international journals and has spoken at National and International conferences. Phillip has also been a leader of the physiotherapy profession in Australia, being the immediate past National Chair of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Australia, the largest special interest group of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Phillip believes that it is important to address the root cause of peoples pain and disability, rather than taking a superficial approach. He wants to listen to your story and then take the time to explain his thoughts on the best way forward. Phillip’s approach is based on a comprehensive examination, followed by a treatment approach that uses manual therapy and exercise, together with postural and lifestyle modification. He is committed to working together with his patients to find a solution to their issue.

Sarah is an experienced clinical physiotherapist and has worked in a number of specialized medical clinics.

Sarah Leech is a physiotherapist who graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters’ Degree in Doctor of Physiotherapy. She also completed a Bachelor of Health Science specialising in Musculoskeletal Therapy from the Australian College of Natural Medicine.

Sarah’s interests are in musculoskeletal health, assisting with joint and muscle pain, occupational health, helping with return to work after an injury, and she also has interests in women’s and men’s health.

Sarah has previously worked within a multi-disciplinary Private Practice and developed a strong interest in Women’s Health physiotherapy.
