Era Health offers Telehealth consultation as well.

Feeling sick and unable to attend the practice? Not to worry! You will consult with the same doctors you would be seeing at our clinic and sort out most issues from the comfort of your own home (unfortunately not for things like procedures or comprehensive skin checks).

If you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms or are concerned about COVID-19, we would recommend a Telehealth consultation. If you are required to stay in self-isolation this will still grant you access to medical advice when you need it.

During the Telehealth consultation, our doctors will be able to:

  • Provide medical advice on a case-to-case basis,
  • Send out prescriptions to pharmacies of your choice,
  • Provide pathology and radiology requests if required,
  • Referrals,
  • Medical certificates,
  • Letters for insurance, etc.

Please note that Medicare only covers Telehealth consultation in a select range of circumstances. If you have not been to our practice physically in the past 12 months, Medicare will not provide any rebate to the service so most consults will attract a 100% out of pocket.

We offer our patients Telehealth consultations through video call or by telephone consultation.

Please check with our friendly staff to find the best option for you.
